1. MARIA CURAU
We love everything about this place from the decor and spectacular view of rice fields to the coconut and salt soak and eucalyptus massage. Greeted with their in house Kombucha by Mosiac (delicious) you get off on the right foot (excuse the pun0 for a thoroughly relaxing mani-pedi. Their focus is all vegan non-toxic products and polishes. The colours are vibrant and fun. Maria Curau is also known for its incredible hand-painted nail art from palm trees to awesome geometric patterns. The staff are fantastic-making you feel right at home.

2. ESTHETIC SPA
Consider all of your beauty needs well and truly covered, est 2000 this is a long-standing spa institution in Bali with 3 locations, 2 of which are in Canggu. As with most institutions comes an excellent reputation, known for their waxing, mani-pedi and all-round grooming experience. The new location in Pererenan is just 5 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Batu Bolong. It is a quiet cosy, space, perfect to kick back and relax with a ginger tea

3. ESPACE CANGGU
In the heart of Canggu, you will find another long-standing spa recently moved from Seminyak. E space was established in 2002 but the space in Canggu is new, bright and modern. This contemporary space has a large mani-pedi area with quiet rooms upstairs for massage and body treatments. The spa is equipped with a lovely dressing room and shower. The well-trained staff are attentive and professional. Our favourite treatments are the traditional Balinese massage, reflexology and the facials are fabulous. They also offer discounts that vary from day to day, check the board outside.

4. SPRING SPA
Hailing from New Zealand, this cult spa group Spring has brought their signature Bliss treatments to Canggu, its third location to open in Bali. Great first impressions stick with its modern crisp minimalist architecture and design, quite different from the Balinese style you quite often find here on the island. Spring Spa’s technicians are trained in the latest trends and also traditional therapies such as Raw facials, spring stretch therapy using no oil with thai techniques and of course every type of grooming you can imagine. At last but not least, the ‘Sip and Spa’ package that pairs Pimms with a massage, if that is not enough of a reason, I don’t know what is.

Amo Spa Canggu reminiscent of a warehouse in NYC is the only place in Canggu you will find -ice plunge pools, state of the art micro-mist steam room, Swedish pine sauna, salt pool, jacuzzi, bar and all-encompassing spa under one room. Offering daily and monthly passes to use all the superb facilities on offer. Amo recently opened this monster location from Seminyak where they had a long-standing following in the expat and tourist community. You can come here for a sauna, massage and a green juice or perhaps a piece of delicious chocolate cake and a sublimely relaxing pedicure all within the excitement of Canggu
